Kensley Woolbright Leads Big Week for ICC, Zach Howard Picks Up Player of the Week

Volleyball - Offense
Bree Lyons, Itawamba Community College
(SO, OH/DS - Oxford, Miss. , 1)
Sophomore Bree Lyons of Oxford helped the Indians open the season with a pair of hard-fought wins over Chattanooga State and Calhoun. Lyons, an outside hitter, had 32 kills (13 vs Chattanooga; 19 vs Calhoun - one shy of her career-high).
Volleyball - Defense
Kensley Woolbright, Itawamba Community College
(SO, DS/L - New Hope, MS, 20)
Sophomore Kensley Woolbright of New Hope helped the Indians open the season with a pair of 3-2 wins over Chattanooga State and Calhoun. Woolbright, a libero, had a team-best 52 digs (19 vs Chattanooga State and a career-high 33 digs vs Calhoun).
Women's Soccer - Goalkeeper
Annabelle Holman, Itawamba Community College
(FR, GK - Amory, MS, 30)
Freshman Annabelle Holman recorded a clean sheet in her collegiate debut to help the Lady Indians pick up a 4-0 win at Southwest Tennessee. The Amory native allowed one goal in the Lady Indians' 2-1 win over Pellissippi State, before leaving the match with an injury.
Women's Soccer - Offense
Isobel Kinsella, Itawamba Community College
(FR, F - Gloucestershire, United Kingdom, 9)
Freshman Isobel Kinsella helped the Lady Indians open the season with pair of wins over Southwest Tennessee and Pellissippi State. In the 4-0 win at Southwest Tennessee, she had 2 goals and an assist. The forward from Gloucestershire, UK had the game-winning assist in the Lady Indians 2-1 win over Pellissippi State.
Men's Soccer - Goalkeeper
John Sones, Southwest Mississippi Community College

John Sones had a strong first week as a Bear. The freshman from Lucedale went all 90:00 in goal recording three saves while giving up no goals in a 1-0 win Saturday at Jacksonville College in Texas.
Men's Soccer - Offense
Zach Howard, Pearl River Community College
(Fr, F - Ocean Springs, Miss. , 24)
Zach Howard (Ocean Springs) made the most of his freshman debut, bagging a pair of incredible goals against No. 11 Gulf Coast to help the Wildcats earn a drew in their first contest of the season.
